Pawlo Humeniuk, a Ukrainian immigrant from Pidvolochysk, was known as “The King of Ukrainian Music” in the 1920s. Yara’s Virlana Tkacz talks to folklorist Iryna Voloshyna about his recordings and the US Orchestra in Kyiv which is inspired by his repertoire today.
